Prod | Synth Automation

I’m “automating” my synth trails. Automation in the analog domain is moving the hands on an electric device (forgetting VCAs). I’m controlling the levels using my hand and recording the acoustic result back to my daw.

Putting a volume controller into different points of an effect chain brings to different results. Taking care or unlearn about impedence mismatches may determine interesting sounds.

Some musical instruments transcend these limitations. Playing this category of instruments makes you experience the perception of harmony without the guidance of established rules.
